Golden Rules of Poster Design

Main goal of this session was to create a poster which illustrates the 10 golden rules of poster design which were named at the beginning of the session. The class was split up into groups of 4 to 5. Every group had to design and create a poster which was able to convey the meaning, hierarchy and intention of these 10 golden rules.

We chose the general design of a chessboard, because a chessboard itself already implies a strictly structured and well organized arrangement of elements. Before we drew on and further designed our chessboard we had to arrange the golden rules starting with the most important rule at the top. The other rules went down in relevance.
